This year, we were excited to welcome Carlos Duran, who joined our team earlier in the year, and Katie Silseth, who came on board in July. Katie brings a strong background in industry leadership as a past chair of both DECA (Driver Employer Council of America) and NATERA (North American Transportation Employee Relations Association). She remains actively involved with both organizations through conference participation and volunteer support, continuing to contribute to the advancement of transportation employment standards nationwide.

Our commitment to staying at the forefront of the captive insurance industry was strengthened through continued education and collaboration. Braden Black and Katie attended the Captive Resources Broker Workshop, exploring new strategies in member engagement, risk control, and best practices shaping the future of group captives. Events like this reinforce our mission to help businesses take control of their insurance and turn performance into profit.

Katie also represented KT Captive Insurance Advisors at the annual DECA Conference, connecting with leaders who are driving innovation and shaping policy within the driver staffing industry. Insights gained from these events help us bring forward-thinking solutions and renewed expertise to the clients we serve.
